Specializing in large-scale cross-border litigation and arbitration. Representing a property developer in Beijing Chao Yang District (now called the “No. 9 Gardens”) for over seven years in HCA 1216 of 2002 and CACV 347 of 2006.
Instructing Queen’s Counsel from England, Mr David Joseph, Q.C. and other local senior Counsel to advise and appeal for the appellant, Xiamen Xin Jing Di Group Company Limited against Eton Group in CACA 158/2012; the appeal involves the engagement by all parties two Queen’s Counsel, seven local Senior Counsel and 8 junior Counsel.
Regulatory and related criminal practice
Acted for various Hong Kong listed companies and their management or associates in a number of investigations conducted by the Securities and Futures Commission under Section 182 of the Securities and Futures Ordinance, Cap. 571.
Acted for various defendants in Petition for winding up and the related legal proceedings in respect of the Hong Kong listed company (China Metal Recycling (Holdings) Limited) instituted by the Securities and Futures Commission under Section 212 of the Securities and Futures Ordinance, Cap. 571.
